More First Friday Fun

Another free, family-friendly event in Sonoma County. The Sonoma County Museum is open late on the first Friday of the month through the summer in conjunction with First Fridays on 4th. This free event runs from from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and includes refreshments and entertainment. The Museum is located on 7th St in Downtown Santa Rosa. This week Amber Lee & The Anomalies (www.myspace.com/amberleebaker) will be performing. Current exhibits at the museum include Ansel Adams: Masterworks and Wine Country Posters: Collection of George and Denise Rose Friday will also be the Public Reception for Mario Uribe: Zen Circle Revisited in the CPS Gallery.

Scooter Rosa is Back

Scooter Rosa is an annual fundraiser benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay. It is similar to walkathon type events, in that participants raise money by soliciting sponsors for their "ride." This is a weekend long event that promises to be fun for the whole family while supporting a great cause.
